Training Times

The Bunya Belles runs are usually organised every second Sunday from various trails from D’Aguilar National Park to the Glasshouse Mnts. There are many pop up runs as we encourage members to seek out company on the trails and there is also a regular Thursday morning interval session at Bunyaville.

Tuesday – 5:30pm – Bunya PB Training Squad – (Mixed group run). Suitable for all levels from beginner to elites. This interval session is run over the Bunyaville parkrun course at varies speeds, hills and distance. A great workout to achieve that allusive PB. From April to September the group locates to Lemke Park, Albany Creek.

Wednesday – 5:30pm – Bunyaville Trail Run Adventures – (Mixed group run). An intermediate group that runs 10-12km covering all areas of Bunyaville Conservation Park. Mixing it up each week with plenty of single tracks, short sharp hills and undulating fire trails. With plenty of stops and regrouping, no runner is left behind.

Saturday 7am – group meet-up at Bunyaville parkrun. Both Bunya groups are very parkrun orientated with Bunyaville parkrun our main week-end catch up. Nearing 100 club runners, there’s always someone to chat and run with at parkrun.

All runs start from James Drysdale Reserve at the Bunyaville parkrun area off Jinker Track. All training runs are free but after your first trail run we ask that you join our Qrun membership. The membership is kept to a low price of $20 individual (all ages) and $30 family (Includes up to four members of any single household).
